I'm such a slacker!
Thursday, September 07, 2006
Hey all! God I haven't posted for nearly 2 weeks! Shame on me.

I know the saying, "excuses are like assholes....blah blah blah..." BUT, I have been pretty busy with other "stuff". As a matter of fact, I will clue you in on my latest and greatest!

A close friend of mine, and myself, both enjoy fishing. Very much. So after doing some thinking, and a TON of research and all that good stuff, we have decided to launch our own line of hand poured scented worms, as well as other various other types of lures!

I AM SO PUMPED! I haven't been this excited about something in a very long time. Obviously our goal is to get our stuff out on the local markets, however, worst case scenario if we don't succeed on the retail side of things, we still don't lose, because we'll use them ourselves!!

Once we get past the prototype and testing phases - one of my personal goals is to get a real "pro" bass fisherman to use our worms in a tournament. Hell, I don't care if they only use it for 5 casts, if luck is on our side, and they land a lunker of a bass on one - that seals the deal for us!! Word of mouth is EVERYTHING in the tackle industry. One good tournament, and we're golden. Again, thats a personal dream - I promised myself not to get my hopes up too high.

So anyway, I will continue to post, and you'll probably see alot of shameless plugs about our new lures. If any of you readers fish - let me know, and I will be more than happy to send you a few samples of our work when we are in the production stage.

Take care!!!

I don't fish, but we have some very prestegious bass fishing tournaments here in Shreveport, Louisiana. They say that the next all time biggest bass is going to come out of Caddo Lake (because of the old oil wells, etc). So this may be somewhere you might want to investigate the bait shops and such. If you want, I can supply you with information about the bait shops etc. around here.

Hi, Kevin the Collie here. I love worms and bait, I scoffed a whole tub recently but Dad had to clear up the mess, Ha Ha.
